Bye Bye Birdie : Auditions

Performances: January 11-13, 18-20 and 25-27, 2008

Auditions: Saturday, October 13 and Sunday, October 14, 2007

Auditions for Bye Bye Birdie will be held on Saturday, October 13 and Sunday, October 14, 2007, in Naperville at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, located at the N.W. corner of Eagle and Jackson Streets (enter from upper level).
Auditions for youth fourth grade through eighth grade will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00-2:00.
Auditions for Teens 9th grade & above will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00-3:00, and
Auditions for Adults (20yrs and above) will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 3:00-4:00.
Call backs will be held Monday, October 15th at 7:00 pm.

All auditionees are asked to prepare an up-tempo song highlighting their vocal range. All auditionees should bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided. No prerecorded music will be allowed. All auditionees are to be prepared for a dance audition. Teens and Adults will be asked to do cold readings from the script as well. Rehearsals begin October 21st and continue through January 10th. There are ten performances January 11-13, 18-20, and 25-27, 2008. There are two shows on Saturday January 19th, 2008. Rehearsals will generally be scheduled for Sunday afternoons and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Please bring all conflicts to auditions.
