Auditions for Winnie-the-Pooh will be held on Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 24, 2011, in Naperville at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, located at the N.W. corner of Eagle and Jackson Streets (enter from upper level). Auditions will only be open to all actors entering fourth grade through adults. Auditions for actors entering the fourth grade through eighth grade will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00-3:00. Auditions for high school freshman actors through adults will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 3:00-4:00. Call backs, if necessary, will be held on Monday, July 25th, at 7:00pm.

Rehearsals will generally be scheduled for Monday and Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Please bring all conflicts for rehearsals to the audition.

Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script – cuttings will be available for perusal at the audition prior to entering the audition room.

Winnie The Pooh	16+ Male or Female	A simple and loyal friend. Not dumb, but with a one-track mind that usually is on honey.
Piglet	4th grade-8th grade Male or Female	Nervous and quiet.
Christopher Robin	4th grade-8th grade Male	Imaginative and kind.
Narrator	30+ Male or Female	A parental type figure with a great story-telling voice.
Rabbit	16+ Male or Female	The forest gossip.
Eeyore	16+ Male or Female	Gloomy, disheartened yet always there for his friends.
Owl	30+ Male or Female	The planner and supposedly the wisest animal.
Kanga	30+ Female	An overbearing, however well-intending mother.
Roo	4th grade-8th grade Male or Female	A typical child that longs for a friend and a break from his mother.
Animals 1-4 (Could be up to 6 )	Any age Male or Female	Hyper, playful and full of mischief.
